Without a purpose, how effective can you be? Are you content living day in and day out without a purpose? Is it enough to just live with a good attitude and no works?
How we treat others is important in our walk with Christ -but where is the acts of faith? You know the scripture: "Faith without works is dead!" James 2:17 How can you have faith in the Gospel of Christ without contributing to its mission? I see many people go through life not tapping into the gifts given to them to be used towards the things of God -specifically into advancing the Gospel of God's Kingdom.
There are many people on this earth that do not know the truth. There are many people who believe that God doesn't love them or that they are not good enough to receive God's love and attention! How can we be vessels that God can use to touch someone else's life? God's ministry can be expressed through us all in many different ways. There is no limit of what we can contribute.
Search your heart! Allow God to lead you towards your heart's desire to serve him at your fullest potential. Don't be discouraged. It may take some time to blossom and bear the fruits that you seek. And always remember -God is always with you at every stage of your development. He is the faithful friend that NEVER leaves you.
