As Long As You Are Willing.....

Have you ever thought at any point in your life that you are not good enough for God to use you for good?  Have you ever gone through times where you felt that you were a failure to HIM or that you should be praying more, reading the bible more, or just simply focusing on HIM much more than you have?

You are the greatest investment Jesus purchased on the cross! That's right...I said INVESTMENT!  Because God has invested in all of us!  He's invested HIS love, HIS time, all the way through to the death of HIS son.  Every situation and circumstance is a piece of HIS investment in us, helping to shape and mold us into the beings HE created us to be.

So even though time after time we go through those moments of feeling useless, less than, or not anywhere near where we should be in our Christian walk, God will always find great purpose for our lives.  Sometimes we have to realize that feelings are just that...how we feel in the moment!  But if we are able to remember the bigger picture...God's ultimate purpose and investment to save ALL of mankind from sin and death....we can understand that what we feel in these moments are nothing compared to what God has in store for us!

As long as we are willing participants to HIS will....God will and can use us at any moment.  HE can call on us during those moments of insecurity or weakness.....but as long as our ear is open to hearing from HIM...we will not miss those precious moments or opportunities to be called upon!  I think the greatest thing in life is to have a special connection with God...an intimate personal relationship in which you are able to do HIS good works.  And as long as you are willing.....HE will use you for HIS good!

Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, Who loved us and gave us everlasting consolation and encouragement and well-founded hope through His grace, comforts and encourages my heart and strengthens me in every good work and word.
